Generative Recolor

Generative recolor in Illustrator offers reduced effort and enhanced inspiration in less time.

You can explore a variety of palettes in seconds without manual recoloring.

To begin, select your artwork, go to Edit > Edit Colors > Generative Recolor. You can use the provided prompts, or enter your own. Text prompts work best when they are simple and direct.

To further customize the color suggestions, you can optionally click Add colors to guide the prompt and provide up to five additional colors.

Fine-tuning Your Artwork’s Presentation

After recoloring your artwork, switch to the Recolor tab to fine-tune the colors even further.
