Using Neural filters and Sky Replacement in Photoshop

A conference room with a laptop in the front and sky replacement on screen

Editing photos for editorial or artistic outputs with ease using the neural filters and replace sky. Each workflow helps you to protect your pixels by creating new layers with the filters applied to those layers. For news photographs avoid these type of edits – don’t make changes that change the overall message of the image.

Review the National Press Photographers Association Code of Ethics for more information:  https://nppa.org/code-ethics

The Sky Replacement is accessed via the edit menu.

To access the Neural Filters panel use Filter > Neural Filters.

This video looks an old favorite filter, Colorize, and some new beta filters.

Colorize – adds color to older or black and white images
Landscape Mixer – change the tone and saturation of a photo by mixing it with a different landscape
Color Transfer – Apply the color palette of one image to another.
